Neither of these is worth much money. Berlin Wall sells boxed for $10+, whatever a buyer is willing to pay for it; and I suppose the same can be said about single-game pirated cartridges, too.

1) Sega Genesis Michael Jackson Moonwalker Megadrive (Japan) game for sale, rare and pirated copy (which I guess makes it a novelty item?) I took it to a gaming convention and they suggested that it may be worth a lot because of this status. I don't know though. Any ideas please let me know asap. And where would I be able to sell something like this?

AND

2) I have a Sega Game Gear game called "Berlin Wall" (Japan, original). Any ideas how much this will sell for and where I can sell the game at?

Thanks guys
Author: ProgrammingAce
Subject: Bio Force Ape Competition Cart Announced
Posted: Wed Mar 10, 2010 8:13 pm (GMT 0)
Topic Replies: 1

What is it:
It is a cart only special release of Bio Force Ape to be released near the Midwest Gaming Classic.

What does it include?:
This cart will include:
- Two levels from the final Bio Force Ape release.
- One boss fight from one of the later stages in the game that has never before been seen.
- A mine cart survival mode complete with scoring
- A bonus mini-game that previews where the series may be going in the future.
- An ending cut scene unique to the competition cart.
- Your first chance to see the full power of the Bio Force Attack.
- Your first opportunity to meet the fabled butter monster on a real NES cart

Why should I buy this?:
The mine cart survival mode, bonus mini-game and cut scene had to be removed from the final game due to size limitations. This competition cart will be the only place to get them. As mentioned previously, this will be the first public showing of both the Bio Force Attack and the Butter Monster. The Bio Force Attack is so powerful it rips through the NES hardware straight to the raw binary code.

Will you be able to make Dur Butter Eat Communism?:
That depends entirely upon your skill level.

Why is it called a competition cart?:
The Midwest Gaming Classic is where I had the original idea to create a game out of the Bio Force Ape hoax. Every year they hold classic gaming competitions for prizes, and this year I offered to create a custom build of Bio Force Ape on which players can compete for a high score. This gave me an avenue to include some of the features that were cut from the full game. As such, we will be offering this cart for sale sometime around the date of the MGC.

So there's going to be an official competition?:
Yes. People who attend the Midwest Gaming Classic will be able to compete for prizes during an official competition at the show. More details will be posted soon.

If you're selling carts, how will you keep the competition fair?:
The competition mode is locked behind a secret cheat code. That cheat code will be released only after the winner of the official competition is announced. This is to prevent people from practicing and gaining an unfair advantage.

Will ProgscammingAce be handling the sales?:
No. I'm just the programmer, someone else will be handling all of the sales.

Where can I get more information?:
Information will be posted here and on our official page: http://CinematicBazaar.com/

Be sure to follow our RSS feed for the latest information.

Pricing and availibility?:
To be determined.

Questions, comments, death threats?
The 3rd party contract clause that limited development was only on the NES (not the Famicom). Who knows what Irem's strategy was, but yeah, they did withhold the release of Kickle Cubicle for the PC-Engine:

http://www.disgruntleddesigner.com/chrisc/secret/PCE_1990Q4.html#meikyuu

They advertised for it and everything. Weird, spazzy Irem.
Don't know about Kickle Cubicle but if the NES/Famicom third party contract clause that stated the exclusivity were still valid then Irem had to choose between the 2 version.

I was skimming through piles of VHS tapes (since I have this odd fetish/hobby - which will hopefully bear fruit soon. Just had a few minor setbacks. Both expected and unexpected.)

Anyway, in the middle of it all, stumbled upon a tiny piece of footage of;

(which if I've understood this thread's links and google right is an unreleased game/port)

[edit]Seems like Chris' got the full version of the tape I ripped that from on his YouTube channel. Follow some links!. The Game-TV Aug. 1990 upload. Dunno if there's anything else of interest on it, but at least the last segments of it has a rather lengthy... something something about the SFC. Not sure what the deal is, but the not-entirely-final design of the SFC shown there is a nice curiosity, I guess.[/edit]

Just browse around the forums at stevehoffman.tv for a minute, the whole place is full of shit like that. It's a "serious audophile" forum that's prone to having 12-page threads discussing the best-sounding CD version of the Bay City Rollers catalog. The answer is inevitably some Japanese or West German CD that they then drive prices through the roof for. Not to mention the people spending triple-digit sums to buy plain rubber innertubes to place their amps on because they think it makes it sound better, and if your CD player cost less than $10,000, it's not worth plugging in. It's utterly insane. (Oh yeah, and they had a Stadium Events thread wherein everyone laughed their balls off at people paying big money for this. Then they went and bought some 500-dollar Carpenters cds.)

Also, I like the term "joy bidding."

New listing says it has now been listed twice and has this message attached....

Yes this is the same one Im trying to sell for the past 2 listing. First auction was won by some childish Joy bidders. Second was removed due to ebay policy violations. Now this item is BUY NOW or best offer only!

So you can now get your copy for a new low price of ONLY $12.5 K!

(there is one other Buy it Now option listed for $40K....)
Not sure if this was common practice or not for this developer, but am I the only one to find it a bit curious that the battle shot is in English? (I suppose if it was in the localization pipeline of some company, the chances of there being build(s) floating around might not be too close to 0.)

(Googling "Light Fantasy Gaiden" gives me both pics and sprite rips, doesn't exactly look very similar. Not even close.)
