Hello friends of taiwan-trash Smile

It looks like I managed to dump Sachen's Beast Fighter for the Game Boy Mono. I hope you enjoy (?) it as much as I did.

I got the cartridge and it is indeed stamped 23. ROM id is DMG-TRA-0

The dump matches the one that is available in the net.

I contacted a seller on ebay who got two carts. According to him one being stamped 00A the other 23 which he confirmed again after another mail. When the item arrives I will report what I got here.

At least the cart from the DMG-TRAT set appears to feature a darker blue on the top than other carts. But that's not a foolproof indicator.

I'm sure it refers to the stamp being 23 (or any number with no A). The stamp is right above the made in japan as you can easily see from a few carts on ebay or yahoo.

This is an insane find - congratulations from my side. Unfortunately I don't remember the game too well to discover any differences while playing - otherwise I'd give it a try immediately.

Japanese games are weird - same goes for Famicom carts. But usually european and US-games are pretty reliable here.

As I said it's probably the PCB revision.

This only refers to a revision of the box and/or cart-label design. The exact meaning of the letter is unknown but might refer to the PCB revision which in most cases corresponds to a ROM data update.
