I'm gonna have to dig through my EGMs, but I very clearly remember FFV pictures with a "Final Fantasy III Preview" in EGM

That coulda been their screwup, but it was there.

Can't speak for programs on the PC, but on the Macintosh you could use either HexEdit's "Compare Files..." feature or the program called ResCompare

from what I understand, it's not quite properly emulated yet.

It definatly happened to Working Designs - They weren't pushed out completely, but shoved into some tiny back corner. This is the reason Lunar: Silver Star Story was cancelled for the Saturn.
