I finally sat down and played through this one.. and it's actually really damn good. Even has a Golgo 13 reference (least I'm assuming that's the "Duke" he's talking about) Great find.

Still looking around for Alzadick Famicom version, but can't find any info at all.. Everywhere simply lists PC Engine version. Did find one of the games from the next year, Summer Carnival '93 Nexzar ...

Are you two talking about the PC Engine version, or have you played the famicom version, assuming there is one... haven't found any proof other than a mention of it in shmups msg board.

Update... other game at the carnival was "Summer Carnival '92: Alzadick" and it is apparently different than the PC Engine version, not that I can find the rom or any info anywhere.. I'll keep looking ...

reminds me of the first time i saw the artwork for Hammerin Harry label (nes one, arcade artwork was dead on). same feeling of it just not being what i expected at all.
