Sim City uses MMC5. It was probably too expensive and/or complex to add support for MMC5.

I'm assuming you mean [url=www.skrybe.net/stuff/Batman.zip]this one. There should be stage skip and invincibility codes. I think stage skip is A on controller 2, I'm not sure about invincibility.
