1) If you have only 6 hours, why not just use the original Japanese artwork? It's all obviously done on matte BGs and cels, so FC->NES aspect ratio and composition are not a problem.

if that's that Journey to the West II game, I think it's either badly dumped or the mapper isn't emulated properly. PAL Famiclones are just NTSC slowed down.

thanks! I still have no idea what it is, though.. I guess a homebrew, or (maybe) a very early version of an official port? It definitely doesn't seem like a pirate to me, anyway.

dunno about the value of that specific game, but i usually avoid offers like that if i'm ever selling on ebay - if they believed $300 was a fair price, why wouldn't they just bid $300 and wait it out? ...
