For me it would either be Twelve Tales: Conker 64 or Mother 3.

Hurricane/Thornado (or whatever the name was).

I'd like to see if anything at all was ever made for it, I seem to recall some test videos showing various maps/locations...

Factor 5 keeps adding and removing the game from their game section every time they make major updates on their site.

The artwork and music samples they had up earlier were just awesome.

A mario kart 64 proto would be nice. It would be interesting to see what Magikoopa (Kamek) would have been like.

And a Mario 64 beta would be nice too. From what I saw it's got a lot of little differences that would make it fun to play all over again.

I should have lots of footage from Mario Kart R somewhere at home.

as far as I know, that one and Beyond Good & Evil are games that started out on the 64.
Also, the test videos I saw years ago looked very 64 hardware.

Can't comment on your drug habits, but Eternal Darkness was indeed an N64 game originally.

I guess the N64 version of Onimusha would be nice, the N64 version of RE0 would do.

The original Dinosaur Planet would be nice.

Wasn't ED for the N64 completed b4 going to GC?

Was Dinosaur Planet the game where you make your dinosaur? I remember reading that in Gamepro.

I had no idea they were making an Onimusha for N64 Shocked

Dinosaur Planet was what ended up becoming Star Fox Adventures.

I have Eternal Darkness, Dinosaur Planet, Twelve Tales and Resident Evil 0 videos at home, should be quite a lot of them.
(Also should have Jet Force Gemini videos before the graphics were redesigned. JFG is a great game and they should really make a new one or re-release it somehow)

Also, recall reading in an interview with Dennis Dryack (spelling?), Eternal Darkness on the GC was basicly rouqhly ported from N64->GC, with just a quick visual overhaul and some gameplay features from the canned PSX version of Too Human added to it.

Onimusha was supposedly started on the N64, was then ported to the PSX and then finally was released for the PS2. The PSX version has screenshots floating around on the Internet somewhere.

I really don't know how much truth there is to the N64 version of Onimusha, I got that off of The-Magicbox.

Really, who knows how many N64 protos are out there? Being the last cartrige based console, ROMs may be more plentiful then we know.

I remember reading way back on IGN64 or in Quarterman or something that Capcom was working on "an N64 version of Resident Evil with samurai" or ninjas or whatever. Maybe it actually said it was planned for the 64DD. Conceptually it had to have started there, but I have no idea how far it was developed.

BG&E also ? It's officialy announced at May 16, 2002 and by that time the Gamecube was already launched.

Announcing Project BG&E
Rayman maker's new game. First screens.
by IGN Staff

May 16, 2002 - Michel Ancel, creator of the Rayman series, will unveil a new game under the working title Project BG&E, publisher Ubi Soft announced today. A new character-based 3D action game set in an expansive sci-fi environment, Project BG&E is planned for release in the first quarter of 2003 for all next generation consoles and the PC.

"What propels this game into the upper echelon of next-generation games is not only an engrossing storyline but the Promise of Discovery", said Ancel. "We?ve designed a brand new, exclusive game engine from ground up that has allowed us to integrate a whole universe in one game including mountains, cities, towns, planets and more. Our goal was to provide gamers an opportunity to experience absolute immersion through a unique story and free roaming environments - a world with no bounds."

Early PlayStation 2 screens of the game show a massive world indeed, and a young heroine opposed by both gigantic lionfish and grim hovering robots. Vehicles also appear in a couple of shots, including a seaborne hovercraft and a twin-engined aircraft. The full details on the game, however, will have to wait until its debut at E3. Expect a full report from IGN at that time.

Almost entirely sure I've seen conceptual stuff about it somewhere around 99
