I won an N64 devcart off ebay that looks like this:

I don't know who/where the seller aquired it themslves, since strangely they wouldn't reply to my messages, but it says Iguana Entertainment, so I'd assume it to be Acclaim. It was "untested and sold as-is". I tried to play it in my N64 and nothing boots up.

Not sure if anything is on it, or is it dead? I'm sure N64 must use flash rather than EEPROM, AS FAR AS I KNOW, looks like it (you can see the entire PCB through the bottom)

Acclaim/Iguana = Turok.

Probably been used for Turok 2 or later.

Turok 2 prototypes has shown up on ebay so often that it makes me believe that in the future it'll almost be cheaper and easier to get ahold of a prototype of Turok 2 than the retail version.

It is not a cartridge which can contain a game. But made for the development. The prototype cartridges which are used for the games under development, have this form :

If Nintendo had used that cart shape for all games, the N64 would've TOTALLY won the console war. I mean, come on.

It would've won the console wars if they used carts shaped like that as ammunition at least. FIRE ONE! BANG! FIRE TWO! BANG!
