Seems a lot of people have their panties in a bunch this year, eh kap? Wonder if it's the weather... |
Man, it started thunderstorming here right after you posted that, and there were beautiful clear blue skies here a few hours ago. |

The entire Assembler shitstorm from cult's point of view.
EDIT: Cult took it down because they are pantywaists.

Maybe we can just keep this thread going as somewhat impartial observers and mockers of idiocy, because as much as I want nothing to do with any of it, it's nice to be able to read about it without accusations and retardation that seem to be originating from Assembler's forums.. but I guess that's what "serious" collectors do, stir up shit.
Then again, maybe I just broke my own stated goal with the above. Who knows.
Yeah, I think I'll just stop caring. |

Red, it's too bad you called for retirement of the butter deal. Because this? This thing that we are discussing with the use of words and civilized behavior that prevents others from doing the same? This signature behavior of crybaby fingerpointing hissyfitting legalthreatening shiftyeyed taking-video-games-way-the-fuck-too-serious fanboy douchebaggery? That falls under my definition of the term to a T.
Also, it falls as a reminder of why I love you guys.
But yeah, it goes without saying... Assembler needs to grow a set. |

Sigh. From our VERY OWN ARTICLE:
"At this point, the development team was split into two groups: one, led by programmer Ofer Alon and designer Chris Senn, would handle programming work on the main engine, while the other, led by programmer Chris Coffin, would develop the engine for the boss levels." |

Sad part is, assembler never had a second copy of Sonic Xtreme... it was all just a ploy to stur up people when posting was slow...
I put up an offer of $10,000 and he couldn't so much as produce a screen shot or a pic of the disc. |

Just before some more bullshit rumours start flying off into the mist, Chris Coffin has two kids and a husband. |

I think it goes a bit deeper then that based on the stories i've heard about ASSEMbler.
A good chunk of the old members from his site formed another message board and left his durring all the drama. He's been trying desperatly to get people back ever sense.

Really? Did he just never respond to your request for pics (like he does with nearly everything/everyone), or actualy say he couldn't get them because (insert BS answer here)? |
