Hey girls, just wondering if any of you have a preferred tool for converting SNES carts to smc/sfc files. And if you know where I can buy one.
I found about 20 carts in a box on a sidewalk here, and they all work fine.
None of the carts are rare or of grate interest for collectors, just want to make my own dumps and release them on newsgroups.
Thanks! |

Maybe eBay or Yahoo Japan? Been a while since I've seen a store that stocked that sort of thing, and I'm pretty sure they're all long outta production. I don't think they're cheap though. |

Tototek sells some used copiers, and I've heard that they're a reasonably reliable seller. Used 32Mbit units run about 30-45$ USD. I haven't used the models they sell (I own a Super UFO Pro 8), but they should be able to back up cartridges to floppies. It's possible that they'll use some or other weird format, and they will be split, but you can use uCon64 to convert it into a more normal format. |
