The other day (literally), I found a website with some info on a game called Radical Dreamers. Apparently, it was the first sequel to Chrono Trigger. It stars Serge, Kid, and Magil, who are searching for the frozen flame. Sound familiar? Chrono Cross was a remake of it. It's a text-based, choose-your-own adventure rpg, containing a few music clips. It's kind of funny, and very easy to beat; but with ten endings, it should keep you occupied for a little while.
In Japan, you could download it onto a blank cartridge through a satellite or something like that. Strange. It even has a translated rom available for download. Anyone else heard of this? |

Why yes, yes we have.
The rom's been out for years, and there's a translation available done by Demi.
Ta-dah. |

Its a "Choose your own adventure" type game (though for the younger crowd I don't know if you'll know what those are).
A list of choices:
1. Go up the stairs
2. Go though the door on the left
3. Go through the door on the right.
and so on. Moves the story along. Kinda fun game, nothing real special, but fun to play in light of its Chrono ties, especially to Chrono Chross. |

Someone know´s if the same Dream Team used in CT, was used in RD? Akira tORIYAMA also has been Character designer in this game, like he was in CT? |

Nope, Radical Dreamers was a much smaller-scale project than CT was. The game is mostly text-based anyway, so it's not like they had much use for Toriyama to begin with.
However, the rest of the CT team (i.e: the actual people who worked on the game and who's names were not used for namedropping) did some work on RD. |
