Except it's missing RBI Baseball, Pac-Man (Tengen not Namco), and Gauntlet, all 3 of which got licensed releases. I'm not sure why he's missing them, none of them are particularly rare or anything. Just because they were published by Tengen (Atari) these three did get legitimate grey-cart Nintendo Seal of Approval license releases.

EDIT - And last time I checked Miracle Piano was a licensed release as well. Anyone spot anything else this guy is missing from his so-called "EVERY SINGLE RELEASED LICENSED NES GAME EVAR" auction?

I bet that's a PAL Stadium Events, so he's missing that too.

Out of all the USA-released games licensed by Nintendo, he is missing five: RBI Baseball, Pac-Man, Gauntlet, Miracle Piano Teaching System, and Stadium Events. While his auction DOES include a copy of Stadium Events, it's the European version, which is nowhere near as rare as the American one (which fetches $1,000+ at times).

It looks like rather than following any guides released by enthusiasts, his "complete" collection is based on Nintendo of America's official list of released games, which used a little bit of revisionist history to deny the existance of RBI Baseball, Pac-Man, and Gauntlet (all legitimately published by Tengen [Atari] before they decided to save money by avoiding licensure fees!).

He's also missing all of the games that were not licensed by Nintendo, although strangely enough his photo does include some! I can spot Cheetahmen 2, Sunday Funday, Trolls on Treasure Island, Chiller, Challenge of the Dragon, and...something. I don't recognize the yellow box above Wayne's World, but it looks like a Color Dreams game to me. These are all boxed, and I don't think any of them appear in the game list he posted, so I'm guessing they're not included.

I guess he just really hates Atari or something?

I'm guessing that $200k final bid is fake, though it should be worth noting that the high bidder has 100% feedback on somewhere between 10 and 49 auctions, including three others from the past month. We'll never know who this person is because of eBay's retarded new privacy system that encourages shrill bidding like this, though!!!

EDIT: I should take the effort I put into messageboard posts and like, blog!

ebay reveals the name of the winning bidder after the auction has ended. Doesn't mean the whole thing isn't assanine.

After you finish looking at the pictures and game list check out my other items! on UNLICENSED games, such as: Menace Beach, Moon Ranger, Taggin' Dragon, Mission Cobra, Cheetahmen 2, Castle of Deceit, and many more (a total of 66 games are in my Unliscenced game auction and some games will be sold separately)

That answers that question.

I also find it stupid he's selling the boxes and manuals in different auctions...

its up to almost $26000 at this point...im sure somebody is ruining the auction with fake accounts. 'bidder 33'. its probably because he claimed that it was every game when in actuality it was not, or because somebody bid on it accidentally...

http://tinyurl.com/3xzdb3

somebody could probably stand to ruin this auction too =\

That was a Tengen (Unlicensed) title.

Also, he cancelled a bunch of bids, its back down to $21k currently. He posted a message about how it was scammers trying to ruin it and blah blah blah, when he's the scammer who has a false listing. (It's one thing to miss a few carts because they aren't on Nintendo's official list for some reason, it's another to omit the fact that some of the carts are not the US releases (thusly are of less value and rarity))

Mr. Clam, this guy seems to be the mac daddy of collections.
At least, the fact that he has Radiant Silvergun on a 10 foot flat screen tv.

I messaged the seller asking why he left these games out - here's his reply (to understand him better i asked if they were in the auction and just not listed in there by mistake):

Quote:
No, I don't Exclude any game but if any game does not appear on my list is because the name may have 2 different carts (such as Punch Out, Indiana Jones, Zelda Grey and Gold) in any case the winner of my auctions will get all the variations. I simply put a list that is mirrored from the company today. Punch-Out for instance dropped Mike Tyson after Both sides tried to sue each other in 1989. Thats why Nintendo created Mr. Dream's Punch Out in 1990 to look the same as Tyson's but dropped Tyson out. Also, with TENGEN ... Nintendo and TENGEN had major disputes recorded for record and Nintendo gave up some rights to allow TENGEN to produce games on their own to avoid legallity TENGEN went on to auquire Licensed for RBI Baseball 1, 2, and 3. Thats why TENGEN was allowed to make GAUNTLET and keep it while Nintendo dropped that Title and made GAUNTLET 2 under Official licensing. But there are a few games that my winner will get that never made it to Nintendo's Offical List.

So - he's an idiot. Also ignored the miracle piano and PAL stadium events topics.
Also of note - i never mentioned variants, punch-out, or otherwise. He rambles on about punch-out for ever when it was never brought up.
