They really have a point though, especially when it comes to xbl arcade games.

Every XBLA game has a demo. If you don't have the means to download the demo THEN YOU DON'T HAVE THE MEANS TO BUY THE GAME!

The sad thing is, he's right... Solitaire did get a 5.2. The reason for the low score? The reviewer was angry because you can't always win. Um... Solitaire is NP-Complete by design (which means there is no algorithm to compute a winnable game aside from brute forcing it).

That dumbass reviewer also spelled "gypped" wrong. Jesus CHRIST people. DON'T YOU FUCKING GET THAT THE FUCKING GYPSIES ARE FUCKING GYPPING US? WHAT THE FUCK?

Also noteworthy, "gypped" and "gypping" are both in firefox's dictionary. Interesting.

Isn't the phrase "Bad Webcomic" redundant?

I don't mind gyped, you still have the root of the original word in there. It's people who are utterly clueless as to what the word really means that get me. Because I'm anal.

True, Kap, I dig ya.
Did you know the origin of term "gypsy" is from Europeans mistaking these dark skinned people (originally from India) as coming from Egypt?
I think the gypsies prefer the term "Romany".

I've never understood all the hate towards PA. Is it just the "cool" thing to do, kinda like hating FF7 even though you enjoyed every minute of it back in the day?

Well that's just too bad. They shouldn't be gypsies if they want people to care what they prefer.

Yeah, it's Roma. "Gypped" and Gypsy is almost kind of ethnic slur territory, but it's pretty widespread. It would be more politically correct to use "Roma," as in, "Joey Roma'ed me out of $50," or "Some Roma stole my baby while we were asleep."

Exactly. It would be nice if people understood what they were saying.

Funny story on a similar topic - the term Paddy Wagon originated from the ethnic slur for Irish Imigrants "Paddy" - in that they would get arrested in droves for being drunk in the streets and would be taken away in these multi criminal vehicles.

That's what everybody always harps on, but it kind of sort of happened by mistake. They created two characters, they started writing the characters, the voices of the characters eventually became their own. They didn't start off going "lets create idealized version of ourselves!", but it ended up that way.

I don't read their posts (TOO wordy), and I only read their strip on occasion at the moment, but I like their comics just fine, and they're also pretty nice guys in person.

What I don't like is, one of them is very anti-emulation. Sometimes, as I think Lost Levels has proven over time, emulation is a necessity.

They're funny enough to hit their website once in a while, plus their charity is pretty cool. I really don't have any idea how they make the amount of money they claim they do though.

Besides, you can't tell me this isn't funny:
