6' 3" and about 175lbs here. I actually weighed about 216 a few summers ago and have worked on getting down to a more reasonable weight.

I'm 6' 3 and about 210. I don't see much chance of loosing weight, i'm already at 13% body fat. The only way i'd ever hit 175 is if i were to loose a limb or two...

Last I checked (about a month ago) I was around 167 lbs at 5'10".

For those of you wanting to get in shape, do yourselves a favor and get into a good weight lifting program and keep track of your calories accurately and eat consistently for whether your goal is fat loss or muscle gain. Last year I made the mistake of losing a great amount of weight (around 200 down to around 155) through ballparking my diet and cardio alone. While the aesthetic result was decent, it ended up being a bit pointless in the long run as I was more "skinny fat" than anything else and there's no more real progress to make after you plateau at a certain weight. It was even counterproductive to an extent as I probably lost a lot of muscle since I wasn't eating near enough.

Oddly enough one of the best places on the web I've run across for solid beginner information on fitness is a Something Awful subforum. Just try your best to ignore all the threads about how best to dress yourself like a gay elf.

Wow, we have some tall people here. I am also 6'3" (~160 lbs).

PS: This thread totally isn't what I thought it would be about.

When will there ever be a topic where I can post without having to look up something first :( ?

Now I had to convert a bunch of numbers just to realize that I'm;

5 feet, 10 inches tall and weight about 164 lbs.
It's creepy though, barely a few years ago I used to weight around 140 (which was a terrifying status quo like weight, as I couldn't get rid of it), now, 3 years later, I'm 164 and I still wear the same size of clothes, shoes, shirts and everything, in fact, evil summer pictures of me back then and now are only different in the way I have my hair and facial hair growth... and possibly a bit more tan now than I had back then.

Where are those 24 extra lbs hiding?
(and now, I'm not doing any "real" physical activity, besides every now and then carrying my bags to and from the luggage belt and a cab)

I started wearing new clothes! Or at least that's what it looks like to most people now that I stopped paying that gnome to cut trim those pubes!

While the thread says nothing about obesity, i think we've just proven that video games make people excessively tall.

I wonder if we can submit this to some medical journal?
