With a cool, bald, midget retard as a mascot, how could NEC have flopped so badly here in the USA with the Turbo Duo?
Maybe they should have made him fat or marsupialian.

Marsupialian say it three times fast.

Ok hey back to the whatever it is. Seems that some dude got hold of a kisok setup for the ill-fated Turbo Duo cd system. Now, looking at the games, we see a very good shooter and two Bonk games. Why two?
Certainly, the american gamer would have appreciated one of the TD's mahjong or Koei-like games that abounded on the system in Nippon.
The demos play just like the games I AHEM have, not much difference.
Just seems this is an interesting piece of shit AHEM history for youse fatties.

Anyway, some dude I know on some hub let me get it. It works great in Yame or Magic Engine. The thing rared is about 270 mb or so. Is anyone willing to host it? I'd be glad to share.

I'd be glad to host it if the link will stay here or something, I don't want my server raped by 500 people downloading a 270mb file :P PM me or something.

any chance one of you could take some more screens of the differences between the kiosk demo and the one that shipped with the duo?

There may not be much more than this, but if there is, I'd like to see it/be able to link to it...

Why not just host the individual ISO files, since the kiosk demo looks almost identical to the Duo's 3-in-1 disc anyway? Turbo fans don't need another copy of Gate of Thunder's music, anyway, plus it can save you your bandwidth.

Ok Exo, I'll include screens of GOT in the uploaded files, of the Kiosk and Demo version. I don't see much difference.
Tonguey, the size came out to 340 MB heh heh....sorry for the miscalculation.
Private me the ftp or whatever details you have. Thanks.
Also, thanks, Drx for the offer.

I think the NEC consoles were the only ones I have never played before. The graphics in these games actually look nice. Is NEC worth buying used on ebay??
