Huh, I had never heard of this game before you had mentioned it. Hell, I thought you had misspelled something in the title.

Honestly, I was surprised to find that on wikipedia. Apparently there were only three games supporting the smartcard media. Judging by the obscurity, it ended up being a colossal failure. |

Wow thanks for the wikipedia. I had no clue what it was when I first looked at the thread. This game seems very interesting. I guess in ways its kinda like Pokemon Snap and the sticker print outs that were at Blockbusters. |

the different spelling made me miss the wikipedia link... anyway iirc there were more than 3 smart cards released, but I think most of them consisted of simple graphic effects and no 'brand' (as bomberman or yoshi) was involved...
i'll try to dig in my bookmarks if i can find the page with the (japanese) list of smart cards |
