I don't think we've seen this before.
I think there was another one, NHK Space School.
Okay, I'm not sure whether this is unreleased or just ridiculously obscure.
I can't remember if the linked site is another that's been mentioned before. (more obscure FC games)
I'm guessing Top Rider is not for those of which the NY Mets are their favorite team. :P |

I think we did talk about this at one point or another. The NHK Space School one specifically. I never heard of the Physics one they're talking about till now. Wonder how many of these Konami made? With that price it doesn't look too hopeful that these will be dumped anytime soon. Too bad as I'd love to see them. I know they're basically useless, but as a bit of a Konami nut, I'd still find them fascinating.
Most of the stuff listed on the linked site I've seen before on countless other pages. Except that Extra Playing version of Godzilla. Says its for the programming staff only, so is that just a proto, or is it some kind of special version? |

Is that "Chalmera Version" of FDS Zelda a new discovery too? It's news to me... |

Running the blurb thru google translation gave me this:
Google Translation wrote: |
CHARUMERA RAMEN NES, as the star prize of goods CHARUMERA RAMEN |
So I guess it was like the 'ArchiMENdes' version of Gradius that's out there? It's the first I've heard of it, though. |

In my earlier post I mentioned I ran the text on that Japanese page thru a translator, and from the sound of it, it sounds like the limited release 'ArchiMENdes' edition of Gradius, some sorta product tie-in prize.
No idea how it differs from the released Zeldas, though. |

Right...I just thought more might be known. I guess no one does! The carts mentioned in this thread are very mysterious indeed.

kind of an odd board design for a limited run game. Mask roms and a custom PCB? Unless konami FC games are all like that? Can't say i've ever cracked one open. |

It's definitely custom. I'm not aware of any other Konami PCBs that have a cartridge slot. |
