Saw this posted on Digital Press. An episode of Video Power which featured the host visiting CES 91. The Nes version of Sim City was among the games he previewed.

If you listen really closely you can partially hear some of the music, though it gets drowned out by all the noise. This is also the first time I've seen any footage of the Nes Dr Wright.

I love that a bunch of girls come knocking at his door because they need help on videogames. It's so true to life.

Hey, is that Kellie Shanygne Williams (AKA Laura Winslow) towards the end?

Someone who appears to own a prototype posted footage to their youtube channel.

That left label appears to be one of those bar code strips that NOA used to put on the games in their lending library.

Apparently he has two copies. That gold Zelda II cart lying on the table is also a Sim City proto. I wonder if its the same one that was shown in that 2005 Nintendo Power issue that covered the game once more. The prototype case they showed was a gutted Zelda II cart just like that one.

It would definitely be weird if that made it out of NOA after they showed it in Nintendo Power. My guess is it is another copy, but who knows how closely NOA has watched their vaults since that was published?

Let's hope it gets dumped, so that I can archive its sound engine.

Its clearly been dumped (if you see the twitter post above). I'm sure it will be released to public in due time.
