So anyone remember this? A difficult platformer someone made a playthrough video awhile ago on youtube.
Do I just suck at this game, or is the control kinda stiff?
Good graphics, though.
Well, sometime ago I found a ROM of this on some ISO forum.
Then I kinda forgot. So, enjoy.

Yep, this was a "group release" on the Assembler forums, I was one of the contributors. Thanks for uploading. |

We never did get a "clean" dump did we? We all got "fingerprinted" ROMs with our names edited into the data file somewhere - then someone (I forget who at this point...) found and removed the fingerprint but didn't release because the person who did the dump was supposed to be releasing the clean version and we didnt want 200 different copies of the same ROM floating around.
Oh well. It's a fun game, glad I chipped in. |

That was me, and thanks for reminding me. I was one of the people who donated, and I got dumps from other people, that's how I figured out the fingerprinting.
I actually got a Nightmare Busters cart a few weeks ago (a bit too late, eh?), it might be a different version, so I guess I'll release both at the same time, so they both get spread around properly? |

Yeah, that situation was completely bizarre and unnecessary and soured me from wanting to contribute again. I'm not saying that I won't, but I'll definitely be asking specific questions next time. |

It's worth noting that we were not told about the fingerprinting at all. I discovered it when comparing different ROMs. When I brought it up it was the usual "what are you complaining about", "who cares", etc. Only "you didn't contribute so you don't have a say" was missing (which I get a lot, btw, despite participating in every gig of this type I can). |

ps: the game is hard as fucking shit. I didn't finish my hacking of the game, but here's some cheats i made in snes9x:
no harm: (This I stumbled over accidentally searching for infinite energy cheat. Makes it impossible to get hit)
7E108701
less enemies: (This will remove the RANDOM enemies that appear. The scripted enemies still appear.)
7E1F4100
Item thrown: (eventually I'll Put in the values. They tend to go by twos. 00, 02, 04 etc)
7E1FB1??
The following may not be 100% correct. Sometimes stuff works, sometime it doesn't.
infinite tornados
7E1FE199
7E1FC599
infinite spinners
7E1FDE99
infinite bomb blast:
7E1FDB01
special attack: 7E1FC5??
bomb blast special: 01
spinner: 02
tornado: 03 |

I got cheat codes that I could contribute here, if any of you would like to see what I have up my sleeve:
Infinite Lives
7E1F9D09
Infinite Dash (you can dash an unlimited number of times)
7E1FC909
Infinite Tornadoes
7E1DE109
Infinite Spinners
7E1FDD09
Infinite Bomb Blast
7E1FD909
Infinite Lives is especially useful, as now you can die infinite amount of times... and you don't even have to restart the level! ^_^
I am very sure these work... at least in SNES9X. Note that I didn't go for 99. I thought 9 would work fine, at least without possibly glitching the game out. |
