I only caught the end of it, where you stated the final boss was (correctly) the conveyor belts.

I'm at loss of words. I only came on in time for the ending and... wow... just... wow.

Just watched it. Congrats on clearing the conveyor belt. Nes games are why God created Save States.

That was wonderfully hilarious, and I still think it had the makings of a pretty damned good game. Nintendo Power's final mention of the game claimed it to be complete, so I still like to believe that there is more of this somewhere, out there...

But if this ends up being all she wrote, I'm glad we finally got it. Treasure that game with all your heart, Cifaldi. Treasure it.

I swear I beat the game last night in 24 minutes with no save states, getting through the belts on my first try...

The lag can't have made it easy. It looked like it made the timing pretty well impossible.

Anyway, thanks for being so awesome, Frank. I was able to watch the whole thing and it was great - I'm glad you got to the ending!

I can't wait to actually play this thing. That's going to be the most surreal part.

It's funny- had the game actually come out, very few people would've remembered it. But it does look at least half as weird as Zombie Nation, and that's something of an achievement right there.

You may have noticed that the first post in this thread is an emulator screenshot. Just sayin'.

Or the rampant FCEUX savestate abuse during the conveyor belt sequence near the end.

"Rampant" my ass, we only used it maybe 2-3 times.

I can actually do it normally, but there was an input delay during recording that made it even harder than it should be.

I was making the assumption that Teflon hadn't watched the video. And I have to hand it to Frank for not using save states during the conveyor sequence, but only to restart it if he fell. Shit was Goddamn ridiculous.

I counted and I'm pretty sure TRE only used the load state button 4 times before he made it.

Hey, 2-3 times is a really high amount for the 30 seconds of gameplay or so I got to watch!

I'm a bit confused... This is an actual prototype of Bio Force Ape? As in, not a parody homebrew or elaborate joke or something?

I was sitting around waiting for the you-know-who-monster, but instead I got a breakdancer, so I'm still not sure if this is just some kind of joke or the real deal.

And if it's the later, wouldn't it at least merit a front-page newspost?

I totally missed this! Looks pretty fun, and juuust weird enough to fall into suspension of disbelief territory. I half expect the butter monster to hop out at some point and for it just to turn out to be another big prank, but the real game really just has those oddball edges to it, I guess. The ending was priceless.
