For the first time ever, I've found myself thinking "I really want to try that beer."

Although, in defense of myself, said brewery has co-sponsored several events that I've freely partaken in recently and seem to be a good group of people, so it's not so much me falling for a marketing ploy as it is wanting to show my appreciation for their good will! (Also, it's being served in my favorite bar where I've literally met over half of my Facebook friends (is it weird that I know 90%+ of my Facebook friends in real life?) so by buying it, I'm supporting my friends as well! (And I can pretend to rationalize getting drunk!))

According to the page linked above, they set out to brew a beer "that tastes like it felt to play the classic NES". I feel as if this is a marketing ploy that could convince me to try smoking crack.

Anyway, they're located in Kansas but distribute in 14 states according to their website if anyone wants to hunt any down. (And if you just want an empty can and aren't in their distribution area, I can probably come up with a few extras.)[/url]

I had to quit drinking for health reasons, but damn if I don't appreciate an ultrahoppy brew. Terrapin's Hopsecutioner is... was a godsend. Unless this beer had the aroma of a freshly opened NES system, I doubt that it would bring me back to my days as a squirt playing Super Mario Bros. 2 (US), but I would try it.

Doubtful, but I do like the can. I'd try it at least once just for the Fun Factor.
