I thought spambots were at least programmed to spell properly basic phrases...

You thought wrong. Honestly, poor-spelling spambots makes more sense - how many humans post with proper spelling?

Unfortunately,I don't have much experience with the reliability of backing up Slot-2 cartridges through a Slot-1 device on an NDS. But I know something about Tiffany Jewelry.

Oh. I see Melissa is one of those spambots that is smart enough to reregister after being banned and make a vaguely relevant comment.

for what it's worth i think there are some people in China who are pretty experienced in this sort of thing, but I have absolutely no idea how to get in touch with them - I have a bunch of GBC games I've been trying to dump with similarly limited success. the only one that worked is Shi Kong Xing Shou. which is pretty cool, but its also an RPG in Chinese, so yknow.

Hi again everyone!

Still no luck dumping the game, but I did pick up a video capture card...
Intro stage, video only

I can't get sound to capture from the card in Windows 7 but the card works fine in OSX so I'll be able to make future videos with both video and sound (and higher video quality too!). Haha, maybe if I can improve my quality of play I can convince SDA to host a speedrun of it ^_-

Edit: Here's a video I captured in OSX, so the sound's intact:
Opening animation
I used lossy compression on it so the video isn't as good, but lossless I get much better video quality on OSX so if I make some more videos they'll be clearer.

Double edit: Here's a video of the intro stage with sound, on Youtube this time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkYOUJXoQW0

Here's a playlist for my videos of this game.
http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=9D0D2F9C7C49E032

Currently it contains the opening demo, the intro stage, and the 8 main stages. There's only one final stage, but it's quite long and I'm having some trouble converting the video. (I got a game over during my recorded attempt anyway so I might just make a different video of it that doesn't waste so much time).

I'm still interested in dumping the game if anyone has any advice...

This is great. Thanks, Boco! It's neat to actually see the game in motion. I hope you can find a way to dump it eventually; I can't offer any help there.

So I was finally able to dump this game! (along with a couple others): http://hhug.me/?post=60
At the moment it's only emulated in the latest nightly builds of mGBA, but that's available for a bunch of platforms so hopefully covers a reasonable number of bases.

Also it's the Chinese-language Taiwanese release, titled Zook Man ZX4, I don't have the English Rockman & Crystal version. Boco, if you're still around and still interested in dumping your copy, let me know!
