I saw lots of so called copies of this floating around, but i haven't seen it dumped. I haven't really seen any valid screens of people running it.

Anyone know if there really are dev copies floating around?

Yes, several. In fact, we had one on display at the Classic Gaming Expo last year. I've heard rumors of it being "leaked" very very recently, but I have no idea if it's true or not.

I though that the copy that was on display (and that I didn't get to play because I forgot about it) was the only final copy ever made. Or not? I forgot.

well it was supposedly so close to release, that there had to be several copies floating around.

Few places claim to have legit copies, but i have yet to see anyone prove such a thing.

Oh, I've held and played a "legit copy," they're out there.

Unless you're referring to the rumor that Sega actually produced the finalized game and didn't sell it, in which case, I've never seen one either.

Supposedly, it's true that it's been leaked.

I was over at the DCEmulation boards not too long ago, and the word there is that a final version (1.06, I think?) with splitscreen and net support is in the process of being dumped as we speak.

If what they say is true, it will probably be on P2P within a week. I'm excited, I really want to play it!

What was the version number for the copy on display at CGE?

Hell if I know. If it's not leaked by the next CGE, assuming we're going, I'll try to borrow it again.

I know it's a bit off the main topic, but speaking of unreleased DC games, did Black & White or Heavy Metal FAKK 2 ever make it far enough into development to have any known protos/betas? I was looking forward to those ports.

There was also an unreleased FPS that looked quite good, but I forgot the name of it.

Woah, Black & White was being developed for the DC? Cool. And FAKK 2...

Julie Strain.

I don't care how old she is, those pictures of her in iNCITE PC Gaming... *swoons*

Nope, it's not Half-Life. I've got that one. ;) Good guess though. This was some sort of unreleased urban shooter. I saw some pics of it somewhere, and they were saying it had the potential to be the Halo of its day, but I can't find the website now.

Yep, surprisingly enough, those were both intended to be released on DC. I tried contacting Ritual once to ask them some questions about the DC version of FAKK 2, but to no avail. And yeah, Julie Strain isn't too hard on the eyes! ^_^

EDIT: I figured it out! The FPS was Shrapnel: Urban Warfare 2025. Here's some screenshots:

Yay for bumping old posts.

I'm sure a lot of you know, but Propeller Arena's been dumped. I was playing it a couple of days ago. The control is a bit stiffer than you'd expect, but it's not bad. Nice graphics, and I bet it would be quite fun to play online.

I got propeller arena and started playing it with a friend, we only played for around 15 minutes before changing games and never wanting to play it again.

Perhaps the game is better in the 1p mode or the 2p mode wasnt finished, maybe one of these days I'll check it out again

True, dumped is just ingrained in my mind after years of ROM playing, I guess.
