As for lost classics... well I still hope Nintendo wises up and starts releasing original content (or unreleased games) as they say they would a long time ago.

Rey, welcome to Lost Levels. For those that don't know Rey, him and I have this obsession with beating video games. He's the only person I know that has beaten nearly as many NES games as I have. I'm still stuck at 13 left to beat, but Rey has screenshot upon screenshot of game endings at his site.

Good to see you here man.

If Nintendo has ever said anything about releasing unique content on the Virtual Console, they meant in the form of new Wii games, not previously-unreleased content from their legacy archive.

I took a stab at it, it's pretty cool. I finished it just now, it's a pretty fun game. Thanks for putting it up, I really appreciate it. Cool

Oh dude, I did drag for like two Halloweens in a row. I stopped this year since I'm actually single again and actually want to attract women, and went as Leon The Professional.

I best shut up, I think we're highjacking this thread.

Any idea why this might not load in Nestopia? FCEUltra is kind of shit Sad

Change the mapper to 156... use the iNES header editing feature of nestopia (on the file menu) to change this and save it. Load the changed edition and poof! Wink

Speaking of the soundtrack, does anyone else recognize the melody in track 3 of the NSF? I swear I've heard it somewhere else before, or at least something very close to it.

ahaha, I figured it out. I think it has the same cord progression as "Killing Me Softly." I'm no musician, thoughts from those who are?

I am a musician, and I think Killing Me Softly is a horrible song.

It has a nice melody in the hands of a good pianist, but that's about the nicest thing I can say.

Songs 1, 8 and 11 (among others?) are also used in Toto World 3 for the SMS, even though some play much slower and sound much worse.

Some of these sound like Russian folk songs sped up. Or German, maybe. Perhaps they're even Korean!!?!?

That unused track HAS to be stolen from somewhere, there is no way in hell someone wrote that 19th century tune for a video game.
