Does anyone have any info on the Japanese coverage of Grid Grabber mentioned here? Specifically, what magazine published those screenshots, and, if possible, scans showing the actual text accompanying the images.

Here ya go:

Preview scans were from Famitsu and Famimaga in Sept. 1989. Ad from a Dec. '89 Famitsu.

Details about the game from the pics:
"An action game from America. Collect all the blocks to clear a stage. 9 stages in total. Item boxes, missiles, and robot tanks make an appearance. You can select 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 matches. Collect the blocks and carve out your territory. Due for release in Jan. '90."

It appears to have been programmed by Elite, so... not really from America?

Why didn't the OP just make this into a Grid Grabber thread?

Thanks for the scans, I was having trouble finding those when I searched myself.

Also, for the record, I'm actually the owner of the Lost Games Wiki. That's why I made this thread, actually; I was trying to find info for the wiki article.

Ah, it's a small world. Feel free to use my scans.
