Aw, shucks. It would have been cooler if it were just flipped text (like in Bubble Bobble), or if you would have had to do frequency analysis on it, or something. |

The ultra cool Odino has written a guide for this:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/nes/game/578398.html
There are a few unanswered questions in the guide, like the possible different endings and what the blue spheres do, that any info on would help to complete it. Otherwise, it is pretty damned good. |

One thing in particular that I'd like to see figured out is how to activate that message from the programmer that I mentioned earlier in the thread. Apparently I was wrong when I guessed that it was related to your health upon beating the game, Odino checked that. If anyone has any other ideas, please share. |

The link to the map in the first post seems to be broken. Is there another link somewhere? |

Forgive me for stating the obvious, but I can't help but notice similarities to Goof Troop for SNES. |

I accidentally boarded a ship I already beat, and then I couldn't get to the end boss room again, and couldn't figure out how to get back off of the ship =/ |

There should be a counter on the left side of the screen that shows how many pirates you have to defeat before the path to the boss opens up. Also, my memory is a little fuzzy, but I think you have to re-enter old pirate ships at certain points to make the game progress. |
