He's supposedly the collector that bought the Zelda 3 NES proto but never recieved the shipment. Just checking if this is all true and if Supergun thinks the owner of Zelda 3 proto was full of BS when he said he shipped the cart. |

Well, it should of died long ago but there's still some idiots who think that it may possibly exist. Supergun would be one, if anyone knows him. I'm bringing it up cause of this thread "http://acmlm.no-ip.org/board/thread.php?id=477&page=26". I can't believe theres some people who still wanna side with the supposed owner of the proto. |

The "owner" actually showed up on Assembler games and had a little spat with Dream TR. I think thats spurring this latest topic. |

I have the Zelda 3 proto ROM, but I'll only give a copy to those who can recite the entire script of Ocarina of Time, in Hylian, with their eyes closed, while wearing an exact replica of the Keaton mask fashioned from dryer lint, in 5 minutes or less.
I eagerly await your videos! |

Pssh... this is soooo last year.
I'm all about the Zelda 4 Prototype for the NES these days. I heard from this one guy who knew a guy who worked for Nintendo, that it was completed, but it was so big that it was actually on 2 carts (utilizing the MMC7 chip which was a prototype itself - similar to the MMC5 with even more RAM and a battery backup.)
The cost of the chips is what caused this game to go unreleased, because not only were they the most expensive chips to be used on an NES game, but the game was so in-depth it required 2 carts, doubling the cost of production. The game was worked on simultaniously with Zelda 3 by a different team and the idea was that they would release 4 just a few months after 3, while Zelda fever was still hot and people were just finishing up with 3. Only 1 known copy of the full game is said to exist. I also heard that a few people have cart 2 only, which is useless without cart 1 because it is password protected to keep people from skipping to the second half of the game (you get a code at the end of cart 1).
Also, this is all very true. I know a guy. He showed me cell phone pictures. I'm seriously. |
