I bought 2 of them. It's funny how the back of the box and instructions shows the Neo Geo version :) I can get 3 more (I think), if you want, have those people contact me.

I bought them from someone on the net, I have no idea how s/he got them.

How far have you gotten? The jumping section in the snow stage always kills me because the jumps have to be timed perfectly.

I remember reading about a pirate GBC port of SMB3 where all packaging was supposedly ripped from Mario Party for N64 (including a reprint of the MP manual).

I can get a little bit past The Damn Bitch Super Soldier. The guy with the machine gun. That's about it.

sorry for the delay, I've been working on some new sections of my site and I forgot to show you the box and manual. I just took these pictures minutes ago so excuse their quality.

Also, I gave up on beating this game, it kicks my ass non-stop, also, if you love metal slug, don't get it on your cellphone. They tried...but failed...

onto the pictures:

I just laughed so hard I almost died. I'm totally going to use FULL OF JUSTICE as a selling point for everything from now on.

Prismatic holofoil and a full length, color instruction manual? They went all out. I'm impressed.

You're right smeg. That struck me as odd too. I mean, that box and manual had to be somewhat expensive to make and you know how cheap pirate stuff goes for in its native countries. How much profit are they really pulling off of this? Unless hordes of silly Americans [like us :) ] are buying it online.

I think the pirates were hoping this game to catch on and maybe become as mainstream as common gb game. I mean think about it, the game is SUPERIOR in every way possible the the Neo Geo Pocket Metal Slugs and it puts you in a mission to kill bin laden, which every true american would love the opportunity to participate in. I'm glad they went all out with the packaging, they even went out of the way to make the FMV intro video.

If anyone is willing to host the intro, I can make an mpg of it. But it has to be a free site that will stay up, nothing that you have to make an account to view (like fileshare or whatever it's called)

I'd use my site, but bandwidth is expensive, I can't risk going over my monthly allowance :(

Anyone heard of this game having a different name? I was on NES World Forums today and Martin put up another haul of Bulgarian pirate stuff. He found Terrifying 9.11 but it was called "The Beet Terrif Battle of 2002" [Dumbest. Title. Ever.]

He says it's the same game. I was wondering if maybe one of you had seen it under this other title or maybe even tried to order it under that title. It might be easier to find that way.

That's news to me, I just hope he releases higher quality pics of the box and contents.

The first time I ever saw the game was a Chinese language version for auction on Yahoo Japan. I don't know if anything was different besides the title on the box itself being in Chinese.

Still need a host for that video? I can hook you up with some space, and it's free as it gets.

The real cost is emotional.
