The first post of the second page in a thread will have nothing to do with the topic.

Evidence:

Weird how people get on random tangents. I'm still confused about how something about family guy got brought up in the first thread.

I don't understand why you think this one doesn't follow.

This one, either. First post is asking about an unreleased Trek game by Interplay and second page first post is Frank responding to someone who had shown interest in trying to contact the developers and make the game available on their website, mentioning how to be legal, one would been to enter into some sort of license with Paramount for the Trek rights. Someone that you argued with about the existence of backed-up source on pressed (or at least silver-top) CDs, even.

Not a bad theory, though. Any other posts where it holds up? Maybe we can make this a self-fulfilling thread and do it here!

I think the evidence is overwhelming... we can't say on topic for more then 10 posts in a row.

I like your theorem. It's well-founded and interesting. Furthermore I find that your postulation that we cannot stay on topic for more than 10 posts is intriguing and leads me to think of how the ALF Animated Show derailed from it's original source show. You see, in the original show ALF's character was much different than that of the character portrayed in the Animated spin-off. It seems that they too, could not stay on topic with their own material. And whats up with the intro song for ALF's animated series? I mean, it's rather offputting and out of place. Here's an interesting reworking of the original ALF series intro, edited in a sort of video remix fashion. It works pretty well:

Plus ALF's joke about Pirates of the Carribean works well today as the films have become a large part of modern pop culture, and thoughts of the theme park attraction become irrelevant in the face of this. I thought the 3rd film was a bit of a silly departure from the first two, but overall enjoyable. Johnny Depp is a versatile actor regardless, as seen in his colorful career. It would be interesting to see him portray the father figure in a modern retelling of ALF.

Makes me wonder what the thread's going to discuss by page two here.

Which, given the first post, would still count as being off topic.

It'd be awesome if they'd pit Rambo up against those.

"Predator? Predatooooor!?"
[edit]Shit, that'd be Rocky... Hey, that'd be even better![/edit]

Did anybody actually go see the new rambo movie? I get a lot of free movie tickets, and i love going to see bad movies (Uwe Boll, i'm looking at you) but even i couldn't bring myself to go see this one.

My elderly brothers saw it during the opening weekend back home. They said it was fantastic and the only annoying part was that it felt like those 1h30m last for only 20m. (Same thing that was annoying us all when we watched Shoot 'Em Up... twice...)

+I think some review of it mentioned a scene involving a baby getting tossed into a burning house or something. That's something you don't get to see every day. (Seems like German media is focused on babies getting thrown out of burning buildings now.) So I guess the movie includes amazing story telling. (First trailer looked like visual poetry in terms of story telling.)
