Checking some of my old EGM magazines I came across with images from that Konami racing game called Vic Viper, starring the... Vic Viper!
For a while I though that game was an urban myth.
And I still haven't found that f*cking screenshot of Cammy wearing lycra pants from a Super Street Fighter 2 beta.

Plus if they wanted to keep it true to Vic Viper's roots, you'd need to collect speed-ups until it's practically uncontrollable. :P |

Yes. One short push to the left or to the right becomes an almost instant 180 degree turn.
I don't know if this would have worked as a full game. It would be fun to implement something like this in a Gradius title as bonus stages or something like that. |
