Looks like it was originally planned for release January, 1996 for the Saturn (by an official Sega employee, no less), scrapped, announced at E3 1996 for the Playstation, and scrapped again. No screenshots in EGM, EGM2, Gamefan, or Game Players' coverage of E3 (anyone got Gamepro, circa June 1996 or so?), but Gamefan does mention "Dreamknight" by Jaleco in their big list of games announced at the show.
