Feels like I'm about to eat some Neo-Anarchism.

The secrecy behind that is probably the reason why it was finally found and bought without buttery problems.

I had watched the video at work (don't tell it to my boss) with no audio, to pretend I was still working Wink
so I missed the whole explanation.

re-watching the video at home, now I know where the cart came from... I keep wondering where the cart has been in all these years, but it's good it's in friendly hands now Smile

Weird, why would you assume a Seta game is awesome?

I would assume a Seta game would be awesome if Bio Force Ape were the only one I'd ever played.

Did anything ever become of this? Specifically, is the dump expected to be released within the next five years, or is it being kept private for over a century to respect Seta's copyright?

I saw a thread in YCS where a bunch of goons were screaming for this to be released. Then someone called Frank (and I quote) a n*****. Not sure what a n***** is, maybe it's some inbred relative of Q*Bert.

I laughed so hard at this, you have no idea.

Anyway I'd imagine it'd be released eventually. I mean, it IS Lost Levels. They're not the type to sit on it and release a butter-coated repro with DUMPED BY LOST LEVELS. GOTTEN BY LOST LEVELS. DEDICATED TO SOMEONE'S GIRLFRIEND. ENJOY BUTTER FORCE RETROAPE ! ONLY 99DOLLERS pissed onto the title screen.

Patience!

This. I figured Frank has real life stuff to get to before he can get around to releasing it to the public. It deserves a proper (if not over the the top) LL treatment, seeing as to how this is the biggest lost [three] levels since Sunman was discovered by chance. And I mean aside from the 1UP showing.

I have a job, and I think there's an expectation that a proper article go along with this "release," so it's just sitting around waiting for me to magically have free time.

Hey, that was like 30 words and 20 seconds of free time that could have been for the article. Stop listening to us trolls! Wink

Personally, I'd rather see it released sooner than later, even if it is at the cost of a "proper" article.

I thought the 1up video was the article.
