For the curious, Alberto González (AKA Joe McAlby) has tweeted a pic of three Game Boy prototypes he still has from the monochromatic Game Boy days:

Does anybody know if these have been preserved already? My guess is that the dumped isometric Pinocchio might have originated from one of them, but he doesn't mention which games are inside.



If you don't know who McAlby is, he composed many great soundtracks for the ZX Spectrum and Game Boy, as well as the memorable soundtrack of Astérix and Obélix for the SNES.
