Hi There!
I'm very curious about what happen to Pit fighter 2 not a big
fan of the game but the first genesis version at least
was the most decent. In a EGM from 93'it appears a preview of
Pitfighter 2 for the Genesis. I think it was on september
or october issue , the game never appears to be reviewed
then the game just desapears from the face of earth.
It appears that game use the same graphic engine from the first
part by looking at the pics.
Anybody know what happen to this game?
Interesting in a Game Pro from late 92' they mention about
tengen releasing Pit Fighter 2 for the segacd. They mention
of having plans to release Capcom's Captain Commando, SF2 &
Konami's Castlevania , Contra and HaHaa Xexex. It appears that
they scrapped all, this was from Game Pro maybe just rumors.
I have some scans of some prototype games to post but don't have
web site. I will highly appreciate, if somebody knows if there
are other options. I don't know much about post and edit web
site stuff. |

I've actually seen an extensive preview of the game from EGM. It didn't really looked that special though. It was basically an updated version of the original with characters from Guardians of the Hood (an Arcade spinoff of the original). I could scan it whenever I find the issue. |

Issue No. 49. Aero the Acrobat cover. August '93 I believe.
It also had an article on the unlocalized Sonic arcade game. |

I don't think so. While the mag was missing quite a few pages to be honest, the majority of the pages were still there. They did had an article on Sunsoft's newest releases (including the SNES version of World Heroes). |

I'll probably find that thing and scan it when I go home this weekend. The ad is literally ripped in half on my copy, though. I think Red said he had the same issue but I forgot to bug him about scanning it. |
