Yeah, topic speaks for itself...

Anyone think they could fetch me some nice high-quality scans of the cover art for these two games?

I'm mainly aiming to get the PAL cover/box art and a high-quality MM1 (US) scan... seems like it's impossible to find!

So, anyone that could fix some high quality scans of these?

Megaman 1 (US)
Megaman 1 (PAL)
Rockman 1 (JP)

Megaman 2 (US)
Megaman 2 (PAL)
Rockman 2 (JP)

And just to give EVERYONE a good laugh, by all means post'em so they're visible in this topic instead of sending them directly to me!

And well, to those that gives it a shot,

Thanks!

I'm probably alone in thinking this, but I kind of like the Euro cover up there. I mean at least the artist tried to make the characters resemble what they look like in the game.

Can't really defend this one.

Euro Megaman 1-2 cover art = AWESOME

Don't happen to have the boxes too well?

Or evt. the possibility to scan some in a high res of just the sticker?

As soon as someone brings on the US cover art, it's time to start laughing.

I don't actually own the European versions. Sorry. I found those images on a site a long time ago. Can't remember where though.

I was more like Gandalf/Ian McKellen Bowling Pin... But okay...

I suppose we can blame that mistake on the medium quality scan...

Anyway, where's the Megaman 1-2 (US) box-art when we need it!?

No one makes fun of the European box-art without having seen the US one!

If they had changed the laser gun to the mega buster like the Euro MM1 has the mega man 2 US box wouldnt look too bad.

The box art from MM1 is an ape is dressed as a 1930s Indian soldier on his way to a lost Incan temple. Oh, and he's using a monocle.

Maybe Toot's site? Whichever NES-something one that was. He had several Euro-US comparison shots for different things.

It might've been that site now that I think about it.
