I'm torrenting this by request from its owner. I'm also playing and enjoying the hell out of it AT THE SAME TIME.
Problem is, the torrent itself seems wonky. You guys should try to connect and tell me if it works. Then you should stay on and seed until the end of time.
HERE IT BE

Bleh, I can't connect. Oh wait, there it goes.
Now the game is just going to be another worthless piece of shit nobody cares about. everyone knows actually being able to play a game makes it lose all of it's appeal. plus some poor private collector was probably counting on all the riches and fame some other black market copy he rightfully owns could have brought. NICE JOB THIEFEYE. Filthy pirates. |

Those unworthy mainstream kiddies don't deserve to get it. They aren't HARDCORE like us. I have ample money to throw around, therefore my HARDCORE level greatly surpasses all of yours.
It's impossible for someone with an average income below $75,000 a year to be HARDCORE like me because they don't have a giant promotional Sonic statue like Dave Halverson. Or the HARDCORE $3000 gold plated THQ brand treasure chest I like to haphazardly chuck all my butter slathered, rotting prototypes into. That's how real gamers do it because we don't believe in the inferior experience of emulation. |

Real collectioners doesn't care about any release of stuff. Why ? Because they own a unique item that nobody can have. People saying the contrary are usually people that are making money on "black market", which, i remind you, is illegal and more immoral than just sharing with others.
The only issue about releasing stuff is that some people can copy and sell as if it was this unique item. And that's a real issue i agree. That's why i prefer cartbridge as for the N64.
and btw throwing money at the head of people is just rude and prove how selfish you are. MY statue, MY protos. Pff ... |

JOURNALIST
It's...it's beautiful. The game is total postmodern bullshit from start to finish, and I love it. Someone start hacking this thing and find out what those secret codes are, NOW. |

So far I'm convinced that Smoke and Mirrors is just as much bullshit as the other games, only it does a better job of making itself look real. I keep buying items that have no use, and there's a bunch of places that need items I can't seem to find anywhere. It reminds me a lot of Alf on the SMS.
The article Sega Visions did shows screenshots from later levels, though, and in the interview Penn talks like the game is way more fleshed out than it looks to be, so maybe I'm missing something.
Impossible mode is AWESOME, though, and even talking to the random street people is pretty great.
"Well sir, I been a videogame sprite for, oh, going on 12 years now!" |

"Later levels?" So you're still in New York, then? You're pretty bad at this game! |

By the way, did you people all know there were SNES and Genesis versions in the works? I've got an issue of Video Games that has the title screen to the Genesis version... |

I knew about Genesis and 3DO (in fact, I have reaosn to believe the 3DO version is complete, so I'm thinking of hunting it down), but SNES is new to me. |

So, I can't help but wonder why you're releasing this on torrent and why isn't Thomasson or the others not selling it. Buh? |

Because Thomasson didn't get the rights so the original owner of the game sent it to me and said "torrent it." |
