The What's Shemue? Promotional disc is up on eBay. (It ends a day from now.)
I know some Shenmue fans may be interested in this, so I thought I'd post it.
Something that makes the What's Shemue? disc so special is that there is a mini-game that involves the now deceased president of Sega.
There is also talk of a What's Shenmue 2? demo disc. Some person in the Shenmue Dojo forum said he read an old article about it and another person said it was canned "DUE TO PROBLEMS". I'm not finding that old article nor more information about What's Shenmue 2. |

If the price doesn't increase a lot, I might actually be able to pick up that nice little collectible piece, even though I'm on a budget 'til the end of next weekend.
Though... do I feel like picking up a random collectible like that... after I got verbaly attacked by some dude on a nother board, accused of being an 'evil hoarding bastard that took all the goodies' >_>
(Related to me saying I've got quite a lot of cool stuff, but didn't have time to scan and show off everything and that I didn't care to repair some of my equipment at the moment, for the sole purpose of just ripping a few VHS tapes and that some stuff, I just can't show off, simply 'cause I'm a man that takes privacy and deals very serious) |

Some people are weird...
I clearly stated that when it comes to material related to certain game series, I've yet to spend over $20 for an individual collector item, and yet some of the 'collector's', or pirates as I'd like to call'em in some cases, as they literaly own nothing 'physical' or 'real' and justify their piracy and lack of support towards whatever it is that they worship with 'But I don't have an income', 'why should I pay for it when I can get it free' or 'it's not even worth the money'.
Nah, I think I'll hit in on this one, see if I can toss in a little bid, as it would be a nice piece of decoration for my new shelf + I could always scan the manual and cover art and make some Quicktime VR movies of it. (Gonna start doing that with most of the stuff I own) |

Hoarding bit me in the ass... My better computer's hard drives died simultaneously. I had a few unreleased games on those. As soon as I'm able to get another operating system on there, I'll use a data recovery tool on them.
