He's not giant anymore, he's an airplane now. And he dances to the tune of the "Amazin' Fruit" commercial.

I am said individual. I REALLY enjoyed playing Link: Faces of Evil and Zelda: Wand of Gamelon on CD-i. Both through to completion.

The only problems with the first two games, are actualy problems derived from the limited hardware.

If you distil the games down, and look at them without the limitations of the Philips hardware , the actual games themselves, stand up rather well.

Before Live Publishing went bust, I was researching these games, and actually managed to track down their creator, though I haven't contacted him quite yet. I must do that before the email becomes invalid.

I have not played the 3rd title, Zelda's Adventure, but I plan to do so soon, once I've been paid. I have no idea who made that, though I did manage to find a woman selling kinky lingerie who knows one of the artists on said ZA game. I must remind her to put me in contact with him.

Are you guys seriously talking about the Amazin' Fruit commercial from the early 90s or is there an all new one? Sometimes I bought those disgusting things just to try to execute them in various ways. Those little bastards were really resilient.

For some reason I always used to crack up at the one bear who almost gets spucked in the face with the spoon handle.

If there's a new commercial, I want no part of it. The old one has randomly popped into my head for days at a time throughout the past decade for no logical reason.

Seriously, there was something awful and subliminal in that old commercial, the song gets stuck in my head for NO FUCKING REASON.

It's amazin' fruit YEAH! It's amazin' fruit!

It would actually be pretty interesting to hear from that guy. Just make sure Zelda fanboys don't find his address. No telling what some of those nutty people will do. :P

That amazing fruit commercial is badass.

I remember that commercial, but not the song. And five seconds after watching it, I still don't remember the song.

You know, now that I think of it they might have changed it at one point. I remember a shorter version of that commercial eventually aired but I remember it still being the same music.

It's totally messed up that we all remember this same obnoxious commercial for substandard gummy bears that make you feel sick.

You know when you just start kind of beating on your desk/table/whatever randomly, like in a drum rhythm?

Often when I do that, my subconscious plays the drums either to Duck Tales or the Amazin' Fruit commercial.
