I wrote an article some time last year regarding GameWave music, you can read it here: http://www.geocities.com/rksparxster/history.html
As a matter of fact, I share these albums on SoulSeek.
Any questions or comments about the article is welcomed.
There isn't a HUGE scene for 'game wave' type music, but the fact that it exists is something worth noting.
I tried to pick the ones that were more true to the core.

I don't think anything hosted on Geocities can be considered as an article. |

'game wave'? thats a horrible horrible bane of a genre classification...
edit: and by the way, 'game wave' music being a 'hard sell' is bullshit, ymck have sold ~25,000 copies of family music.. |

Wyld File, an American Multi Media team specializing in the production of music videos, released an animation featuring Beck's "Girl" remix officially made by Paza and his ATARI ST. It's available as a QuickTime movie.

No, he's just from Missourri.
I once spent two weeks in Italy with about thirty education majors from Missourri. They were all female, about 19, and married. It's like they WANT to fail over there. |
