i was just wondering if anyone has ever writting an emulator for those games you see at bars, that have puzzles, card games and such.

I'm pretty sure a shitload of those are emulated in MAME. |

Mame did (and still does if im not mistaken) include games like that as long as they were not actual gambling machines.
Either way I believe their are a lot of games that fit you description are available in MAME as Smeg said. |

Well, most of those ones you find in bars these days (touch-screen monitor mounted to the bar itself with probably 100 different games in various categories...I just can't remember the damn actual name of 'em), are just Windows PCs that load the software on boot-up. The stuff in MAME is pretty much older variants of the same type of thing, but I've never came across any sort of emulator (or just the Windows software itself) to correspond with the current generation of these things. |

I know I read somewhere a few years ago that a lot of these were linux machines, too. |
