Hi guys, first post

Im a big fan of Sonic games, not of the new ones which sucks, but of the old ones. I was wondering what happened to Sonic Team's games quality, if the problems in the development of Sonic X-Treme messed up all the team, or today its all about releasing pure commercial games.

Anyway, my friend and i tried to play Nights into dreams, one of the last jewels, if not the last, of Sonic Team; as u may know, Saturn emulators are discontinued and most of games doesnt work right, like Nights. I have uploaded a small videos of what we could make work, and we thought it would be a good idea to share it with you

hope you guys like it
and btw, any (ANY) information about this game would be very appreciated

Nights main menu
Nights ingame
Sega Saturn intro.. we think its better than the PS of PlayStation :p
And more ingame bizarre videos, this one with sound
And more with sound too
Another one without sound

Huh? What's your motive, citizen?

Not to discourage you for taking your time to contribute (erm... things) to the gaming society, but I fail to see what you are trying to contribute either brings something new to the table or pertains to "Lost Treasures."

In regards to Sonic Team's lack of quality, it is my speculation that they have just plum ran out of new ideas. So far they've just been pumping out things that resemble Nintendo products.

Samba de Amigo was a pretty good game, though.

The 3D revolution ruined video games. That is why the games that are large in charge are easy games Prince of Persia, addictive games like Ever Quest, and negative games like Grand Theft Auto.

I really dislike 3d gaming too, but your argument isn't just flawed, it doesn't make sense. If a game is made well, has good control, looks adequate, not to mention it's fun, I don't really care what perspective it uses.

I would imagine that you don't include Star Fox, Stunt Race FX, Doom, or even Mario Kart in the category of 3D gaming, do ye?

How did Star Fox look 3-D on a SNES anyways? I remember reading it was an FX Chip, It looks cool... so how come no other games used it?

There are more Super FX games than Star Fox, but not many because it looks like shit. Even with a coprocessor, the SNES ain't cut out for 3D.

I kinda wish more games had used the SuperFX to do cool 2D stuff, like Yoshi's Story did. I know the "3D" games looked pretty bad, but the massive, scaled bosses in Yoshi always look cool to me.

Yoshi's Island or Story?
Story was pretty blah, but my sister's first comment seeing Yoshi's Story is "that's one constipated dinousaur".

I'm quite sure he meant Yoshi's Island, seeing as Yoshi's Disappointing Story didn't use the Super FX chip.
