Quote: | Nintendo wasn't exactly kind to Square and the what pushed Square away completely was when a trade show was coming up (I can't remember which one), Nintendo had told Square that there would be space for them in Nintendo's booth so Square didn't get a booth of their own (I don't think Square was big enough to get their own booth, but I'm not sure about that.) Once the show came up, Nintendo screwed Square over and didn't have any space for them. |
I thought that's what happened to Sega and Working Designs :( |

Might have happened to both, Sega and Nintendo have been both known to have gone through power trips back in the 16-Bit era. |

It definatly happened to Working Designs - They weren't pushed out completely, but shoved into some tiny back corner. This is the reason Lunar: Silver Star Story was cancelled for the Saturn. |

I meant graphic wise, not bit-wise. The quality seems a bit better than a PS1, but the textures are way too good for it, almost at a level of a Dreamcast, not to mention the um... roundness of the faces. |
Kit, just for a note, the X-box's CPU is 32-bit, so bit-ness doesn't mean anything at all, really. |

Now THAT is true. However, the number of bits a processor can handle per cycle does indeed mean something. It just isn't the be all end all measurement people like to pretend it is.

Yeah, cause dumb people are always saving videogames, having the vision to hand development teams over to miyamoto, and making billions and billions of dollars.
No wait, instead, you're a horse's ass. |
