I'm most interested in the N64 version of Resident Evil 0. From what I've heard, it was 50% completed, with the entire train stage and part of the training facility already completed.

I know cubivore went on yahoo japan a while back... i'd love to see that make it out someday.

BG&E is one of those games that was in development for a long time before anyone knew what the project really was. The development on that one was a bit odd, they created the team of talent first, then told them all to create a game.

The less i say about biohazard 0 the better, sufice to say i don't believe it'll ever see the light of day.

Dinosaur planet is probably the easiest to obtain, since it was the last N64 game rare worked on, most of their N64 flash carts still have debug versions of the game on them. Kinda suprised that one hasn't leaked yet.

Someone asked how plentiful N64 protos are... to be honest, not very. At least not on the flash carts. The carts were stupidly expensive and they kept getting written over. Best place to look is on hard drives and backups from the developers, but good luck unless you know someone on the inside.

I would definately love to find a proto of Super Mario 64, along with the cancelled Zelda 64 DD cart.

A mario kart 64 proto would be nice. It would be interesting to see what Magikoopa (Kamek) would have been like.

I remember seeing pic of Kamek back in 1996, that woulda been cool to see'im while the game is playing. They also hadda Malboro cigarette font that spelt Nintendo, it didn't make the final cut, since you know, Nintendo didn't wanna encourage kids to smoke...

I wouldn't mind seeing Fire Embem 64. It was suppose to come out for the 64DD. Also right the DD was officially cancelled I remember seeing something about Game Maker for the 64DD?

A lot of weird stuff came from that era...

Are there any screenshots or previews of the canceled Bonk game for the Nintendo 64? It was apparently turned into Bomberman Hero, but it was a Bonk title for about six months.

That sounds quite interesting. Do you know if anybody has looked for any leftovers inside the ROM?

That's what I was gonna ask. I love Bomberman Hero, and that would explain why it lacked multiplayer...

No idea. It was a fairly early Nintendo 64 game, so I've got to wonder how much programming was done on Bonk. This guy's resume is the best source I've got for the Bomberman Hero connection, and it only refers to some Bonk-related graphic work and "planning."

I completely forgot about this game. Wasn't it completed but Kemco couldn't find a publisher?

Supposedly some music was created for this game.
I need to find that link again...

I wish I could tell you more about it. Last I recall, the plot featured a woman named Raven (I think) and it took place roughly 1000 years after the end of Trials of the Four Towers. Castle Shadowgate had long since fallen into disarray, and most of the stories had been forgotten or something.

They ran a Raven comic strip for a while, but I don't remember much if anything about it.

Radical idea for a thread! I think basically what everybody said was what I would say. REO and Zelda 64 would probably be my most wanted. Im sure I could find some more if I looked in my Old Nintendo powers. Doshin the Giant or whatever for the N64DD looked pretty cool and its sensless that they didnt release it here stateside for Gamecube. Earthbound 64 looked pretty cool to. If the tech demo of the Final Fantasy 6 game was ever meant to be released as a game that would be cool also. Oh ya and you can't forget about the Goldeneye game. In beta stages it had more guns and an extra stage (the Casino).

Doshin the Giant was released on the N64 DD in Japan. I also wonder what ever happend to Metal Gear Solid on the N64. I wonder if they have any screens or went any were in development. I bet the project was scraped in favor of Hybrid Heaven.
