|
|
I randomly came across this nintendo video on youtube which shows the snes game Nigel Mansell's grand prix in a beta stage being programmed and such by the game's creators on a snes emulator thingy-mabob.... It's interesting in that i can't think of any other official nintendo video showing you how games are made. (of course i may be horribly wrong).

I thought it was because the nintendo wii makes gaming accessible to grandmas and other nongamer types. |

Well you're in luck, because there's nothing to explain. I just put it in randomly to see what would happen. |

Since we run a video game forum here, can we find something else to filter other than "Nintendo"?
I've removed the filter for the moment. Put it back if you really want to, but I'd much rather you filter "butter" or something. |

How about we filter a word like "rare", to change it into "butter"? :) |

I, too, cringe at bad punctuation.
Also, it appears Square has discovered Capcom's business model. Alternatively, cue Miyamoto/Iwata "it prints money!" pic. |

As far as I can tell, since Square Japan has nothing to say about it on their site, this is PSU's source. Not exactly authoritative.
Not that it changes much, it's very nearly Square's business model anyway. |

The PSU article on Squeenix is bullshit. Kohler debunked it here if you care.
At any rate... interesting video.
And on the topic of filters, I think it would be most fun to filter common words with their common misspellings to make everyone look like an idiot. Eg. the=teh, more=mroe, games=gaems, sega=seag, etc. At least, it would be fun if it happened without us talking about it first... srory for ruinging my onw idea. |

The big problem would come in choosing which misspelling to use for "definitely".
The Lost Levels' servers would crash.
[edit] I would actually choose "defiantly", just because it would make those typing it seem overbearing and stupid |
