Just wondering if anyone knows what the deal is with importing a pc engine that also plays cd games? Ive heard that the pc engine cd games have no lock out and thus will play usa cds also?

One major query i have is how difficult would it be to get it to work in the uk? Could i just plug in my power plug and tv cables from my pal version turbo grafx and expect it to work?

Sorry if this is mildly obscure but I figured this would be the place to ask these kind of questions.

I know nothing of the PAL issue, but you're correct in that none of the PC Engine systems had a region lockout on CD games. Since copy protection was a non-issue back then CDRs play fine as well.

thanks. As a general rule would usa turbo grafx cables power a japanese pc engine or are the plug ins different? the early sega consoles work fine with a power cable from any region so i was wondering if its the same deal with Nec's machines?
