it doesn't include wait and see, because it's licensed american games only. |

yeah, if it included unlicensed games it'd be pretty much impossible to determine which is the last. they're probably still being developed in China, even if they're mostly for plug-and-play systems rather than stand alone cartridges. |

Well, it's dead on about the NeoGeo though.
But the dead last Famicom title was produced in 2000 or so and was some sort of text game. |

I think that was the last Super Famicom game. The last licensed Japanese Famicom game came out around '94, maybe '95. |

Yeah, around christmas-ish 2000 "Metal Slader Glory - Director's Cut", a remake of a Famicom game, was released through the Nintendo Power download station service. |

The last licensed Famicom game was Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima 4 (aka Adventure Island 4) in June (?) 1994.
The last licensed US NES game was Wario's Woods, released in December 1994 (and the honor of being the only ESRB-rated NES game). |

that's for sure - cah4e3 has been dumping new pirate originals and hacks on his site for a while now. The most recent original of which (AS FAR AS I KNOW) is The Panda Prince by Shin-Shin (Chinese). It has a 1996 copyright, and the dump was released only a few months ago. |

Well, for Famicom pirates, there's always "Bio Hazard", which was according to a note inside the released rom dumped on the 27th of November 2003.
The game is a full chinese famicom premake of Bio Hazard/Resident Evil 1 (Features only Jill's Scenario, cart is 8mbits and has 4 save slots), and since the battle system in it uses assets from Gaiden on GBC, it's atleast safe to say that the thing is not made before 2002 and seeing how it's dumped in late 2003 and 2003 is part of the number on the screen before the title screen (200314121), I guess that thing was released sometime 2003. |

Let's not forget those all-in-one TV game systems that still use the NOAC, like that horrid Atari 2600 compilation (the original model...another model was released some time later that used actual 2600 hardware). When was that released, exactly? |
