you guys nobody will ever pay more than a couple hundred for a dumped proto because I am the top expert ever and I know what everything is worth all the time in this market where what a single person is willing to pay makes all the difference and you would be nuts to pay x amount for y because I said so |

Kind of old news, but someone apparently found a third Earthbound proto. I am slightly suspicious but not really. |

It's the same guy. He went back to the guy's house and was given another Earthbound, a gray NWC, and some other wortless crap. |

That actually sounds like one of those weird dreams people have every now and then (me included), just that this happened for real |

Whats the deal with the third one? Is it consistent with what was presented in the article? |

The buyer of the last stuff is a dutch dude i know, he received all in good order. Sick that so much popped up from one guy, he had them all the time and no one knew.
I hope i can check this proto of him out, would be nice to compare it with other known stuff about EB0. |

Just started playing EB0 again. Read the article for the first time in awhile. I just had a quick question. In it, Phil Sandhop said that the packaging and marketing resources were all complete. Might Phil have some way to access the design for the box of the game and release it to the public? Maybe worth emailing him about it? |

There's a thread on DP where Dr Curtis' wife is talking about buying the cart, then another thread where Curtis is talking about receiving it. I'm pretty sure the auction is legit anyway... |

Sorry for the thread necromancy, etc, but I found this to be pretty interesting. The comic looks pretty western and not japanese, could it have been made for marketing the game in the west?
It's hard to read the text, but it seems to be mostly gibberish. |

Well, there are a lot of Japanese comic artists who use a style like that, and I've seen at least one of them published regularly in game magazines from the 1990s.
I don't think the art necessarily means that the comic was intended for the West. It's more likely that the comic was playing off of the game's Americana influences. |
