So I've been looking through the ESRB ratings for certain systems out of curiosity, and made a list of the unreleased games I found. I'm not sure if all of these were known, or if there's more I haven't noticed, but there you go:
SEGA Genesis
-Lobo
-Tempest 2000
-Exosquad Revised (there's some site that even claims it was released)
-Two Demolition Man games under different publishers
-SLAM: SHAQ Vs. The Legend (again, the same site claims it was released)
-The Shadow, by Ocean
-Two Scooby Doo Mystery games under different publishers
-Beyond Zero Tolerance (unreleased)
-Prince of Persia ll (only the SNES version was released)
-Whizz (only the SNES version was released)
-Pulseman (for the SEGA Channel, possible US localization?)
SEGA-CD
-Buzz Bombers (part of Penn & Teller's Smoke and Mirrors)
-Braindead 13
-Super Strike Trilogy (which was completed, according to internal sources).
-Time Cop
-No Escape
SNES
-Star Fox 2
-Exosquad Revised
-Mario's Game Gallery
-The Horde
N64
-Eternal Darkness
-Tetris Attack 64 (instead of the Pokémon-themed game)
-40 Winks
Virtual Boy
-Dragon Hopper
"Nintendo" (could be anything):
-Super Mario Bros II Japan
-Wario Blast (not released in the US)
GameCube
-Nintendo Pennant Chase Baseball
-Nintendo Puzzle Collection
-Futurama
-Robocop
-Pichu Bros: Party Panic
-Viva Rock Vegas
-Immortal Warriors

I own a US copy of Keio Flying Squadron, so it was indeed released in America. |

The ESRB doesn't have a separate rating for the Prime/Microcosm set, which actually carried two ratings - one for Prime (ESRB) and one for Microcosm (VRC; I guess it wasn't worth paying to get it rerated by the ESRB?). That rating is probably for the released version in that double-set, not the unreleased individual game. |

Nice idea.
And, uhm, Mega Man X6 for Game Cube ?
Wouldn't it be a bit odd for this one to have a stand alone GC release/announcement?
Guess this one is probably just X6 from the X Collection. |

My totally uneducated guess is that that's Mega Man X Command Mission before it received a "proper" title. ICEknight could prove me wrong if that title appears in the list he's been looking at as well. |

40 Winks for the N64 never came out? Weird. |

Seems like they got the platforms wrong in a few cases- eg. Conker's Pocket Tales was the GBC game (hence the "Pocket") not the N64 one that later became Bad Fur Day. Wario Blast was also released on the Game Boy, although I suppose it's possible there was also a NES version in development.
Star Soldier Vanishing Earth and Bomberman Jetters were both definitely released in the US, though. |

The Life Fitness Program was actually released, as part of Mountain Bike Rally. |

Super Mario Bros. II Japan would be the Virtual Console release. |

Bomberman Jetters came out in the USA for the Gamecube. Great idea to go looking through ESRB ratings though. |

Unlikely. Wario Blast was basically a licensed hack of Bomberman GB (Japan).
(not to be confused with Bomberman GB 2, which was released in the US as Bomberman GB) |

Just checked all the rated GC titles released by Capcom and all the other MMX games (including Command Mission) appeared, so Carnivol's correct. Kinda wierd how those didn't show up when I searched games by system...
I've removed those confirmed releases from the list, including Conker's, since there's no other rating for the Game Boy Color version. If anybody's feeling brave enough to look for more stuff in these or other systems, here's the link. |

Cool investigation! If games were submitted for ratings most of them must've been pretty near completion. |
