|

Check it out. Most or all of these images are stuff we've seen before, but in much higher quality and resolution. Including a rescanned version of one of the Seiken Densetsu ads and those two mockup screenshots. Have you seen lower res scans of all the other images, Skrybe? Most of it seems familiar, but there might be some completely new stuff here.
Edit: I didn't look at the page enough before posting. There's a ton of stuff we've never seen before, including new screenshots of Jungle Emperor Leo and Armadillo 2. |

Awesome stuff. Anyone know the name of this game?
http://www.ne.jp/asahi/oroti/famicom/mab11.html#2
Is it just me or does the font used in that store screenshot look similar to the font Compile used in a lot of their Nes games? I wonder if this was made by them? |

it's called Switchblade, made by Kemco apparently. no idea if it's in any way related to this switchblade, but probably not. |

You're right, seems to be the same font. (Compared it to the legal text on the Guardian Legend title screen, specificly the "Compile" text).
Also, judging from the link with the Kemco name, seems like it was set for release in November 1992.

All hail commander Switch Blade, guys! |

I hate to make such a pain in the ass request, but could I possibly get translated names of each of these, maybe with a link to the entry? I want to add this stuff to the database we're working on. |

yeah, this was actually the first of the ones kitsune did that i got into. i thought it was more fun than most sonic games, bite my tongue. the stage layout reminded me a little bit of banana prince stages, which are all pretty hellish. |
