It's a true story (maybe), and the title of this column I wrote for Retronauts, featuring an interview I conducted with one of the programmers who worked on Penn & Teller.

Oh, also, I write for Retronauts. I wrote this thing about Vulgus, and then some other posts that aren't about unreleased games at all.

One of my friends went to school with the people who do the Desert Bus of Hope. I actually found out about the game from her before I looked into it here!

In an interview in the December issue of GameInformer (yeah, I figured it's the least I could do for my buddies slaving for minimum wage at GameStop), Penn Gillette made a small mention of Desert Bus of Hope when asked about Smoke & Mirrors. Sadly, he did not mention it by name, but approved of it. Especially considering that (also stated in said interview) Desert Bus was intended as a "fuck you" to Janet Reno after she quoted that video games should prepare people with real world skills.

Last year, Penn had on his YouTube account a video about the Desert Bus for Hope event. I think this might be the video, but I can't say for sure... as the Penn Says YouTube account is now US region locked :/

Okay, so the boys are supporting them with more than just a "Hey guys, love what you're doing! Keep it up!" Wonder if it was just cut from the interview. That's something you'd want to mention by name.
